Interesting info

This is the familiar dandelion found in yards and fields.

I include this sort of sorry photo not only to show that the invasive dandelion does indeed show up at the preserve but to point out that it appears only in very small numbers. Though alien plants like this appear here and there at the preserve, especially along the trail through the field, they tend to be overwhelmed by native species.
