Small white flowers cluster atop this square-stemmed mint.

The many slender leaves are distinctive.

Frequency: Several plants found in low, wet areas of the woods, with some stragglers showing up in higher areas.

Blooms: Persistent, blooming from early June to late July.

Range: Found in various habitats in much of Indiana, but more prevalent toward the prairie areas in the northwest and southwest.

Found from New England to Minnesota and from Florida to Texas.
