Interesting info

Several species of daisy fleabane are found in southern Indiana. I haven't pinned this one down yet.

Fleabane is distinguished from aster by the large number of very slender rays on the flower head. (An aster would have fewer, thicker rays.)

Height: 1' - 3'

Frequency: Abundant in sunny field.

Blooms: June-August

Range: Species of Erigeron are found throughout the United States and the southern tier of Canada.
