Interesting info One of the first plants to bloom in the spring. Found in the preserve in April but often seen earlier in warmer soil elsewhere in southern Indiana. The deeply cut leaves distinguish this plant from the similar spring cress and from Houstonia, which blooms later in the year. The flowers are generally white, but sometimes pink
blossoms are found. |
