Interesting info

Spring beauty is one of the first wildflowers of the spring. It blooms in April at Twin Swamps but can be found weeks earlier in warmer soil elsewhere in southern Indiana.

The flowers are generally white tinged with pink, but sometimes an entirely pink flower will be seen.

Frequency: Plentiful in the high, dry woods.

Blooms: March and April.

Range: Found throughout Indiana.

Also known from Nova Scotia to Minnesota and from Virginia to Kansas.
